The Cedar Chest is an award-winning boutique consignment shop located on the shoreline in Clinton, Connecticut. In continuous operation since 1980 and entirely women owned, the store has been recognized as one of the best consignment shops in the state and has been featured in Connecticut Magazine as well as the New Haven Advocate and other publications.
"When the opportunity to purchase The Cedar Chest arose in 2004, I jumped at the chance to use my own creative juices to enhance and grow the business.
Since purchasing the shop, we continue to improve the shopping experience for our customers. We have increased our floor space and improved our store lighting. Shoppers can now visit us seven days a week as our store hours have been expanded.
