As I prepare for my retirement at the end of this year, it brings me immense joy to share that The Cedar Chest will continue to thrive under new ownership starting January 2025. Since opening the first Cedar Chest store in Clinton, CT, back in 1980. From our humble beginnings as a small ladies consignment boutique, we have expanded to three more locations, becoming a beloved destination recognized by Connecticut Magazine, Ink, The Advocate, and many more as one of the finest consignment shops in the state.​

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your loyal support throughout the years; it has truly meant the world to me. I am incredibly proud of our dedicated staff, who have worked tirelessly to ensure your consignment shopping experience is nothing short of fantastic.

So, what does this transition mean for you? The Cedar Chest III in Old Saybrook will remain open and continue to offer the same wonderful bargains and quality you have come to expect.
